IDCA c. 1949

This is a scan from a slide that was in my Grandmother's possession and was passed on to my mother. The photo could have been taken by either my Grandmother or my Grandfather. This was, I believe, the very first International Design Conference in Aspen in 1949. It took place in the original music tent designed by Herbert Bayer. The speaker in this photo looks a lot like Bayer but I'm not certain who it is.  

I believe that these are some Design Conference participants from c. 1949 or buddies of my Grandparents. On closer inspection, I think the man in the middle with the pipe is the speaker at the podium in the above photo?
