SCHINDLER LAB PROPOSAL - ROUGH

The following is a proposal for a show at the MAK Center Schindler House Kings Road. 

• The support beams in the house are either exactly my height or one or two inches shorter. 
• Exhibit paintings that are exactly the height of the beams propped between the floor and the support beam.
• The paintings stretcher could be made to the height of the beam and placed vertically under the beam. When the stretcher is keyed out it would wedge the painting just enough between the floor and the beam to create a wall or a screen. 
• Ideas for show or catalog.
• Use Grant Mudford's photographs of the Schindler House to make a catalog of my paintings Photoshopped in to his photographs. Grants photos show the house as a domestic space not a gallery. It could be interesting to show the work in the Schindler House "the gallery," and show the work in the catalog as the Schindler House "as domestic space."
• Or, Exhibit Grant's photographs of the house on the walls of the Schindler House.
